NICOLE

Nicole is a triple-certified, trauma-informed meditation instructor who also works full-time in mental health data and creates music as a conscious rapper. Her passion for helping others took shape after she found meditation to be an essential tool in her own healing. Nicole integrates breathwork and mindfulness to promote mental and emotional well-being in communities often overlooked. With more than eight years of dedicated practice, Shawnell teaches Vinyasa flow as a way to unite mind, body, and spirit. She sees yoga as a lifestyle that involves consistent, mindful engagement rather than just exercise, guiding her students to build sturdy foundations for long-term growth. Cherelle is an MMA fighter and coach who’s made it her life’s work to ensure women feel safe and confident in self-defense. Rooted in her own experiences navigating male-dominated gyms, she fosters an inclusive environment where women can learn to protect themselves—both physically and mentally. Known for her authenticity and grace, Aleeah (Leah) is dedicated to sharing yoga with communities where wellness is often overlooked. BreAnna is a PhD Candidate researching how yoga and Pilates can serve as resistance and healing for the Black community. Her passion for embodied movement stems from personal experience with chronic knee, hip, and back pain, leading her to discover the power of corrective alignment in Pilates. She also turned to yoga to manage anxiety while pursuing her doctoral studies, blending academic insight with personal practice to help others find liberation on the mat. Credentials: 200-hour Certified Yoga & Pilates Instructor (Vinyasa + Classical/Contemporary Pilates); PhD Candidate Passion: Investigating and sharing embodied practices for collective Black healing Healing Word: Liberating Mantra: “I Am (period).”
