  1. What types of yoga classes does Her Sacred Way offer? We have a variety of classes, including Vinyasa, Hatha, women’s only, and other classes relevant to female and/or perinatal needs.

  2. Are there yoga classes suitable for beginners? Yes, all of our classes are beginner-friendly, and we provide many options for those wanting to grow or transform their poses.

  3. Do you offer prenatal yoga classes?  Yes, We have prenatal options for pregnant and postnatal women. Check out our classes and events for what’s coming up next.

  4. Is there a membership fee to join the studio? Yes, drop-in options  and memberships are available.

  5. Can I try a class before signing up for a membership? yes, you may select drop in for any classes. Ask about our new student special.

  6. what are the benefits of yoga for women?  The benefits of yoga for women include strength, flexibility, hormonal balance, lower cortisol, improved heart health, better sleep, and more.

  7. How often should I practice yoga to see results? It takes 21 days to develop a habit. You will feel the results immediately, but yoga is about maintaining the results.

  8. Do you provide yoga mats, or should I bring my own? We encourage you to bring your own mat, however, we do have mats to sell if you do not have one.

  9. What should I wear to a yoga class? You should wear comfortable loose or fitted attire. Some classes may involve a bit of cardio and will get hot.

  10. what should I bring to a yoga class? You should bring your yoga mat, water, a towel, and something to hold your hair.

  11. Are there any age restrictions for joining the yoga classes? Our classes are not intended for children under 12 unless otherwise noted.

  12. How long are the yoga sessions? Our classes range in time from as little as 30 minutes to 90 minutes long. Each class will list the exact time upon booking.

  13. Do you offer private yoga sessions? Yes, we offer private yoga sessions. Check out our options on the Services page.

  14. Can I attend classes if I have a health condition? Yoga is not a substitute for medical advice and is advised that you Seek permission from your provider before continuing.

  15. What is the cancellation policy for classes? You must cancel your reservation either online or in the app at least two hours before your reservation. No-shows will not be refunded. Please be on time as the doors will be locked once class starts.

  16. How can I book a class? You may book online. Check out our classes on the bookings page.

  17. Are there any discounts available for students or seniors? Unfortunately, there are not discounts available at this time

  18. What measures are in place for ensuring hygiene and safety in classes? Studio floors and equipment are sanitized after each class. Please don’t touch each other. If you are not feeling well, we ask that you stay at home

  19. What is the difference between Vinyasa and Hatha yoga classes? Hatha is more focused on static poses and mindfulness, while Vinyasa is characterized by dynamic flows that smoothly transition from one pose to another.

  20. What are the studio's operating hours? We are open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 11 AM and again from 5:30 PM to 8 PM. On Saturday and Sunday, we are open in the mornings from 9-12.

  21. Is parking available at the studio? No, we do not have a parking lot. You are able to park on Hertle Ave. or any of the  nearby side streets. Be cautious at metered parking.

  22. Do you offer workshops or special events? Yes, we offer workshops and special events. You can check out the Services page and the Events page.

  23. Can I freeze my membership if I am unable to attend classes for a period? Please reach out to us immediately. You may cancel and restart your membership at any time.

  24. Are there any community-based classes? Her Sacred Way is fee-for-service. Check out our events page for any collaborative events.

  25. How does Yin yoga differ from other yoga styles? Yin is a slower practice and introduces sitting in poses for more deep stretching.

  26. What are the qualifications of the yoga instructors? All of our instructors are certified yoga teachers, and are also uniquely qualified in other healing modalities, which allows them to work with you.

  27. Can I change my membership plan? Yes, you may cancel or change your membership plan at any time. This must be done prior to your next subscription date.

  28. What are the rules and etiquette to follow in the studio? Here at Her Sacred Way, we love and honor our tribe, celebrate and uplift all participants, and create safe spaces for women. We have a no-nonsense policy for any negative vibes.

  29. Do you have locker facilities and showers? No, we do not have locker rooms or showers.

  30. How can I provide feedback about a class or instructor? You will receive a survey after every class for feedback on your class or instructor.

  31. Are there any online classes available if I can't make it to the studio? Online classes are coming soon.
